We finished the season in grand style with a huge 367 seconds dropped at the West Virginia Champs. Pretty impressive from 22 swimmers, especially considering our average age was 14 at the meet.

We have just completed 2 very successful week-ends in Oxford. Congratulations to all of our participants on some mighty FAST swimming! A special kudos to Nicole Chase, our newest YMCA nationals qualifier with her 31.6 in the 50 meter butterfly. Team records were broken by Macy Arn in the 8-un 50 free (breaking National JR Team member Margo Geers 10 yr old record) and Michael O’Brien in the 50 free and 100 fly, breaking 12 year old records.

I want to personally congratulate our 49 and our swimmers qualified for YMCA league championships7 YMCA Nationals qualifiers (WOW!!)!!

We hope to place top 6 at leagues this week-end in Miami.

CONGRATS BUCKEYE SWIMMERS !!

166 Best Times from Buckeyes at Makos this weekend!! We dropped a total of 309.43 seconds, averaging over 2 seconds dropped per swim! Way to GO Buckeyes! The coaches were all very impressed with how easily our younger kids adapted and learned the flow of events at a very large meet.

Congrats to our Distance Challenge Participants!

We had 9 kids compete in the mile and 10 tried the 500 on Sunday, December 7^th! All but two swimmers tried these events for the 1^st time ever. Most of our Mile participants recorded best times in the 500 along the way. We coaches are so very proud of these kids for being brave enough to try and learn about pacing a distance event!!
